We currently collect and process names, contact details and particular interest(s) in the project. 

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons: 

You contact us via our website contact forms or subscribe to receive updates. 

You fill in our donation form or volunteer form and provide us with your personal details so we can contact you.

You provide your details via our social media pages.

You email us directly.

You sign up via a sign-in sheet at a workshop or the shop.

You provide your personal information at the checkout process when you purchase something via the online shop.

We may use the information that you have given us in order to contact you with information about no toy left behind that we think you might be interested in. This might include newsletters, marketing or invitations to events. We will also used anonymised data for our impact assessment reports.

We will not share this information with any other individuals or organisations.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting notoyleftbehindproject@gmail.com with email subject “unsubscribe”.

 

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored in our password protected cloud based digital records. 

We keep your name and contact details for 3 years, when we will ask you to resubscribe. We will then dispose of your information by deleting it from our digital records.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
