Safety: We clean and check all the toys for safety issues and we suggest you do the same when you receive it. Toys that are secondhand are covered by the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. This means they do not need to be labelled with the UKCA mark, or the address of the manufacturer / importer.

Without a UKCA safety mark to guarantee safety we suggest you consider the following points: check for loose parts/stitching/hair, tug at parts to check they’re not loose, check for finger traps eg hinges, check for flaking paint, check for sharp or pointed areas and beware of cords or strings.
